The Reality of Aging Out...
Every year, thousands of young adults leave the foster care system and step into adulthood without the support many of us take for granted.
No permanent family.
No safety net.
No one to call when life becomes overwhelming.
Many face housing instability, financial hardship, educational barriers, and emotional isolation.
At Hope Beyond 18™, we believe their story deserves a different ending.

MORE THAN SURVIVAL
Aging out of foster care should never mean
aging out of support.
Hope Beyond 18™ helps young adults transitioning from foster care discover stability, belonging, mentorship, and opportunity through strategic partnerships and community support.
Each year in the United States, more than 18,500 youth age out of foster care without permanent family support.
In Texas alone, over 1,000 young adults transition into adulthood annually without stable housing or community infrastructure.
By age 21, nearly one in three will experience homelessness.
The transition from foster care to independence is immediate — and too often isolating.
Hope Beyond 18™ intervenes at this critical moment.

Hope Beyond 18™ exists to help young adults transitioning from foster care move beyond survival and toward stability, purpose, and hope.
We do not simply offer assistance.
We offer stability, belonging, and a pathway forward.
As an initiative of the David and Deidre Proctor Foundation, we work alongside trusted partners to provide pathways to housing, mentorship, life skills, and community support.
